Can I take a motherboard from an older computer and use it in a newer computer? I have two crashed computers. One though that's way newer than the old one doesn't have a working video card in the motherboard. It stopped working. That other old crahed computer though has a working motherboard. Will I be able to use the old motherboard in that newer dell computer?

i think question is referring to a fitting old mobo in to a much newer computer case, if this is the case - all you have to worry about:
#1 holes in the bottom of the case where you have put screws in, to fix mobo (can be easily modified)
#2 power supply connectors (can be easily modified)

if you are trying to use various components from older pcs to fit in to a newer pc (?) than we do need to know what models (slots are used) in order to tell you what can be swapped.

so please submit either models of the motherboards (components)
or picture with good visibility of the components and slots they are sitting in.
