Fair warning for those who is not familiar to markings on Pentium processors. Two auctions below include Pentium processors, marked with "ES" on the bottom:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370475803121&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370475792864&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123

These are not engineering samples!

Edit: Corrected family name (80486 -> Pentium). Thanks John!

I was still surprised at the prices seeing most were won by members of the forum.

I just wanted to make aware the winner of this lot
"Lot of 4 Intel Pentium 90MHZ CPUs SX968 SX958 SX879 ES"
http://cgi.ebay.com/Lot-4-Intel-Pentium-90MHZ-CPUs-SX968-SX958-SX879-ES-/370475792864?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item564213f9e0

even thou there is no Engineering Sample in the lot, that the die markings on the SX879 are unique.

From the die markings the FPO should be C429 making in the middle of production for this sSpec.

What is unusual is that instead of the normal die marking it has the same die marking layout of 486 & 486 overdrives of this period
