Hello, first time posting here.

So it would seem that what I thought was a 133adw that I have had all these years is in fact a 150. After doing some research it looks to be somewhat of a rarity. I am putting together a "super" 486 system to run Puppy Linux and got my old M-tech R418 out of the cabinet along with this cpu as well as another that is an AMD-X5-133ADW. I had ran the 150 as a 133/160 (4x33/4x40) in the past and it worked fine, not knowing it's true id.

So, first: shall I keep using the 150 as a 160 @ 4x40mhz, which seems to be fine with the PCI cards or would it be better performce at 3x50 as long as the PCI cards like it?

Second, what is this 150 worth?

Thanks

Please post a picture. If visual condition of prints is very good then value of this chip can be high.

that was the auction pic, not hugo's

I should have took a pic before I resent it to him (I did fix a bunch of bent pins on it though), but he'll have it in a week or so

Ahhh Yes, I hope so Very Happy , or it's Crying or Very sad

Well, and how would I tell?? I was running it as a 4x40 (160), I'll need to check that out for sure later. Was purchased new in the day, paired with M-Tech R418.

Can I use one of these, will need to set it up.. I figure dos is the easiest at this point.

DOS programs:

http://glstation.free.fr/mine/djgpp/download/cpu.zip

http://rayer.ic.cz/programm/programe.htm#CPUID (cpuid.zip for DOS/W32/Linux)

May be a while, but I'll report back..

From that picture looks genuine BUT it is small. High resolution + flash lamp and from different angle then we can say more about genuineness.
