Lot of things don't bother me, but lately one thing has.

When a ebay seller has multiple of the same chip and lists one for auction every week or 10 days
then the same buyer comes along week after week and bids above realistic market value.

I quite often stick in an early low bid in on these sort of things... to make others aware that I am wanting the chip. If there is a bid in already and I recognise the ID as a member I quite often won't bid to minimise their cost.

I understand buying multiple items for resale or trade.. but why at stupid high prices.

Its probably water off a ducks back... but I have said my piece

PS.. this is not directly to an individual as there is a few that do this

Its called greed and lack of respect. If I see a person I know bidding on a chip I will not usually bid against them. Unless its somthing really special, then I expect a free for all anyway and the gloves come off.
Thats why I have the area 51 on my site to try and help people identify the collectors we all know and keep the costs down. But as is in life in general there are givers and takers.

yah I try to avoid bidding against people here unless I really need the chip.

If its more then one chip, I just PM the member and ask if they'll sell me an extra lol

Neon, I do so understand you...

The few US auctions I participated I've lost.
And I believe to someone here, but I never go crazy and check all the sites for updates to pinpoint the winner.

So far no Us bids won, ever. No Avicc needed Smile Yet.

Is it a collector? It would seem odd to buy multiples of the same unless you were going to resell (but then it wouldn't make sense to buy at such a high price)
