|
|
I have bought a new CPU and have done all the setup, installation and applications in WIN7. So I try to backup the system with Clonezilla to .img. But after the cloning. I encountered the following problem from pic 1 to pic 2. Seems like it can't detect the harddisk. I try to enter the bios setup or any other options, it just couldn't response to it. And it will just stuck to the 2nd pic. USB, CD-rom and harddisk don't response.
When I power start the system, it will hang at pic 1 for 20second. Then pic2 is the next screen shown.
I try to to continuously hit <DEL>, <F9>, <F12> and <END> immediately the power is on, there is no response.
What problem could it be? ARRGH... New CPU but can't use it. Damn pissed off...
Please please let me know if anyone know how to solve this problem. Your help is greatly appreciated.

You screwed the cloning.
If it were a bios problem you sure wouldn't go that far.
The string you getting on screen only says this:
- hey man, am lookin' for an Os to boot, but no go ---> hence the second screenshot
So, yoi either have to reinstall the Os, or try to figure out were it did go wrong on the image cloning.
Have you tried to put your hard disk as boot device n.1?
As suggested by kosmokrator, try to reset the cmos once.
The pc is working, just an OS issue.

From your screens it was definitely crashed M$ OS. BIOS issue is when you see boot block procedure or you see nothing after update _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

You see you have to spend for a new motherboard: 50€ bill slipping from the wallet... at least.
