I have a doubt about DEC Nvax processors
From this page
http://simh.trailing-edge.com/semi/nvax.html
exist two NVax variant (NVax and NVax+) but I have in my collection 3 variant!
in the picture you can see the DEC part number are different (but product number it's the same, change only the last digit about the frequency),
but the second isn't the NVax+ because it's in the second picture (and I'm sure of that)
..... so what is the part number DEC 1001C ?
may be an embedded CPU like Alpha 21068 vs 21066 ? |

In my opinion 246C is NVAX, 1001C is NVAX+.
The gold plated "E+" on the third chip indicates an early Alpha.
First one to see with "262D", maybe unmarked proto? _________________ Ordem e Progresso |
