Was hoping you would.. as you would get to test it b4 I could test mine
they had been sitting on ebay for a while as AMD Dual Core ES

Neon_WA, the good news is that this Opteron has arrived from AVICC.
The bad news is that it seems unable to POST in my motherboard. It seems likely that the chip is dead.
So the mystery of the meaning of the slightly different part number will require a little longer for a solution. C'est la vie. |

see if I can find something to make up for it being dead..
hopefully the other works
I have been lucky with chips.. haven't had one that hasn't posted (even ones with missing pins)
