I found an old Canon Canola calculator the other day and it had this interesting white ceramic based display in it. The model number of the display is Hitachi H1833B.
Does anyone know the voltage and pin out of these?

Hi Chook. This is probably Panaplex display. Take a look here;

I would go with low voltage and 1,5 mA and then slowly rising voltage...
