Most people don't know what the J series is, this same cpu retails for over $460 on newegg. I believe the J stands for enhanced performance, lower temperatures and that coincides with better voltage control.
The multiplier can be dropped to 14x, allowing a much higher FSB to be reached.
The 6600GT videocard may not be the top of the line, but with the help of this cpu, I was able to play Battlefield 2, half life 2, Doom 3 and counter-strike source, all on high settings.
