just started working on my latest research project to keep the mind active Laughing

I have recently noticed that P2 Overdrives don't have a FPO for final production date, but a product number instead.

So I am wanting to create a database of all P2 ODs to see what information can be derived from it all.

As most pics are either to low a quality to read the info or others that still have heat-sink attached, I am asking people to provide data on the ones they have.

I have included pic borrowed from Naked.. to show what info I am chasing.

A >> Part sSpec/qSpec Version (eg PODP66X333 SL2KE V1.0)
B >> Product no (eg 692077-001)
C >> CPU FPO (eg L835)
D >> Cache FPO (eg L828)
E >> Intel label if present (eg IN6T84301062)

Here is the spreadsheet that I will enter they info into
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?hl=en&hl=en&key=tnpXVM1EQLCXeZFSthikqfA&authkey=CPiEq9kG#gid=0

thx to all Smile

Very similar to Multifusk's one it seems. On mine, where C is located there is no numbers under the die on the chip.

How common (or uncommon) are these PII OD's?

I've never even seen one since I started collecting... Surprised

They have become one of the less common Overdrives, though they were made for around a year.

Most user of the Pentium Pro simply upgraded their entire systems (so PII Xeon etc) rather then upgrade the CPU and revalidate software on it.

I went and checked your collection to get the Altered Assembly Number off the 2 you provided and noted you hadn't listed your V1.0 SL2KE Surprised
From what I can tell, that is the earliest SL2KE so far Smile (week 35 1998)

Is it possible to provide the FPOs off the CPU & Cache for this one ?
