it should be IBM power series but cannot get exact partnumber
the marking on it is 39N7298

Looks like a DCM Power5, one CPU die and one cache die
Power3 and Power4 are manufactured with only one die, Power5+ with 4 (2 cpus and 2 cache) |

Hi,
it's a POWER5 "basic" configuration, 1 CPU + 1 cache chip.
The board came from a 720 Series server.
Nice card!

I'm guessing it is the "1.5 GHz processor card, 1-core" card for the OpenPower 720
if so.. should have one of these FRUs on the card
10N6458 << RoHS compliant
