gateway e-4200 slot 1 processor upgrade

Hello I was hoping someone can help me I have a gateway e-4200 computer
with an 850 mhz slot 1 processor. My motherboard model is tabor c coppermine mp440bx, I tried a 1000/256/100/1.7v slot 1 processor and my
computer didn't like it. I'm thinking why it didn't because of the voltage difference and it might be for a server. So my question is what it the fastest
processor that this computer can handle? Thanks for youur help!

Update BIOS to latest version (if possible) and then you can try this solution :
