well, it is a little funny.

I do know these Chinese 8080 & 8085 clone were made in early 1980's at shanghai.

I am struggling for several years to search everywhere I can be but get no luck.

At one deep night several months ago, when I finished all my work and got nothing to do, I was sleepy and bored. I just input some boring keywords in the taobao edtibox, nothing can draw my attenion. but suddenly, these chips appeared before my face !!! That was really out of my expectation. That was really a surprise to me! and I bought them at a very very low expense. Very Happy

Before I got these chips, only maoxuezhu have the 8080 clone. but no one had ever seen 8085 clone. now I get both of them Wink

Make sure you have updated PHPBB to the latest version and try to enable/install a Captcha that will probably hold of 90% of the spammers.

Ofcourse you can also add a more strict registration policy, only allow posting after validating e-mail address or only allow posting after YOU have approved the registration.

I do have CAPTCHA verification when registration, but seems useless completely.

The PHPBB i am using does not have e-mail validating option....

thank you anyway

What version of phpBB do you have? It had e-mail verification built-in long time ago.

On this forum we use javascript to block bot registrations.
