Are you talking about trading or investing?
I invest in stocks and every now and then trade options for a bit of fun (when market is experiencing large volatility or gets aggressively sold off). I steer clear of futures or CFDs

- i think it depends how you understand it. I am more in to a trading, stocks mostly, did some options too, but not much of a luck lately, so i switched back to stock only. Features, CFD, same as you, only watching other people do that.

With stocks I always go long, but use options for shorts. With my options trades I look to exit within 24-48 hours
