Shipping fee with official Australia post office is very expensive.
For example, send a normal air mail parcel from AU to US would cost about US$12 and US$20 up to 500g, US$76 for up to 3kg. Registered parcel will be more expensive.
Is there any alternative service or company I can use?
I know there are DHL,TNT,UPS,FedEx around, but they are also expensive.
Any suggestion?

DHL,TNT,UPS,FedEx is Veery expensve!!!!
i send via TNT some important parcel and i choose some secure way (with content of 3000$ + ) no over 500gr from Greece to China
And i Give 120eyros!!
Only the official Country Post service is the Cheap Way.....but 12$ for a single parcel less 100gr o the near country ...is too much i believe.... |

Unfortunately there isn't any cheap service. And for parcels to the US there is now a $9 security charge for parcels over 500g due to extra processing to meet US govt requirements.
You are best grouping sales and shipping all in one go to AVICC

hahaha, yeah, now let me see which one I'll pick....
Australia Post are apologetic to customers saying they are only passing on the cost - they make no money from the $9 surcharge + they said parcels to the US will incur a delay of 48 hours in transit time as well. Didn't know we had been classified as one of the "axis of evil" ...maybe they've heard about Stu...LMAO

At least I can print postage going TO Australia, some countries our govt have decided that only terrorists print postage online to, and make you go to the physical post office to pay instead of online (apparently terrorists wont go to the PO?)

From Aust-Post website,postage to China < to US < to Europe
But there are only few dollars difference.Overall price is high.
John,I would pick option C - your govt think terrorists come from everywhere other than US

hahaha...now that is funny...you can share a space station, travel to space together, travel to each other's countries but can't easily ship. And the middle -east...now that is one of the safest and most peaceful places on earth.... |
