Get the processor out of the box.

I can see the step code is SX909, however it cannot be seen clearly in the photo

Good news!!!!!! I can't wait till tomorrow

Progress made so far: Heat sink had removed from the chip

See photo. Next step is to remove the glue without damage the label

use the little plastic card gradually slide on the edge of the glue.
Then insert the card gradually。 I spend 15+mins, to remove the heat sink

Now I need to clean the glue from the chip Smile

Bad news......

Just found that the black label has already stick on the glue and there's no way to keep whole label in this way.

Is that because I soak it in spirits for sometime?

let me know what the FPO code is L41????

quite often the print sticks better to silicon glue than it does to the gold surface.
No matter what you do.. in the end it is lucky of the draw

That type of glue is one of the worst types. Its very hard to remove it without removing the print and I've never been able to remove all trace of the glue. The circular mark always remains.
The white epoxy type glue is much easier to remove with metho and there is good odds of the print remaining intact.
