Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. I just got this chip and wanted to share. Not very special compared to some of the exotic/rare chips many collectors have, but it's still nice to look at.

Gold cap pentiums are really beautiful to see.
It's an addiction to gold caps...

No worries! That pro drawer is awesome!
I've spent a lot of time cruzing around through older topics on here going back to 2003. All the prices from years ago make me wish I had gotten into this earlier. I would most certainly have a lot more older gold chips if that were the case. I've technically been collecting chips since 2002 or so when I was 14, but I didn't get more serious about it until about 2 years ago. Until then it was just whatever I came across for free without actively looking. |

Many started like that... piling up tons of stuff
Someday you'll start with auctions, and those hurt three times:
- wallet
- being sniped 1 second from the end, and losing for 10 cents
- a user here posting how fortunate they were and posting humungus quality pic of the chips you lost a few days before...
@ "australian golden boy" : some people here could post pics so damn crazy hot that they could hijack the whole site ... lol |
