They need a bit of tlc and pin repair work, but I thought I would show this lovely pair of 1602s Very Happy

Same lot code and a S341 which I assume is the 1602 version of S314 for 1602As.

These are some VERY VERY VERY rare chips, nice find.

Yes they are very nice even in poor shape

I decided it was worth spending the money getting them professionally repaired as they are the first 1602s as far as I know to have surfaced

The unmarked eproms in the lot faired a bit better.. especially as some are white 1701s Very Happy

see if you can work out which is the 1601/1701 die Wink
