I am looking for a working(!) ES/QS CPU, with all pins etc.

- Celeron slot1: 450mhz or faster, any bus speed (66/100/133)
- Celeron s370: 900mhz++, 100mhz bus only.

- PIII/P3:
slot1; any 'fast' one(500mhz++), any bus speed.
s370; 900mhz++, and only 100mhz bus/not 133.

Now, I can understand that you may not know if it actually works, lack of testing rig etc... so I'll probably take my chances with cpu's that at least LOOK ok/nice, no bent or missing* pins etc.

(*: other than the supposed ones, given the ES/QS status)

Hoping for reasonable prices, if any available CPUs at all.

Let me know it anything out there....

Thanks.
Cool

PS:
model listing below of what I found to be potential candidates, but open for other versions :

QYQ2,
QME2,
QHF3,
QLS5,
QIC9,
QID2,
QKE0,
QEY3,
QHB6,
QHF7,
QGG4,
QY02,
QGG5

Preferrably ES versions (QYQ2ES etc), but maybe also QS.

Theres a QM49ES (QM49) Pentium III 600MHz Socket 370 ES on ebay for $30 BIN. Not my auction so I'm not posting a link, but it's been listed on US ebay for a while now.

Yep, I've seen that one for months as well.... Razz
Though a bit pricey, or ?

- But anyways, it is a 133mhz bus/s370, which has some issues vs multipliers.

Still, thanks for quick and helpful reply!

According to the info page on QM49ES here on cpu-world it's a 100MHz bus PIII. (Click the link for QM49ES)

You could always messaged the seller an offer. I don't see too many Socket 370 ES chips for sale here on the forum so I'm not 100% sure what a fair price is for one. I'm sure CPUShack or some other members here can chime in on the price.

Ack, never occured to me to double check the seller info, it seems... my bad, heh.
Shocked

Right, I might reconsider that one. But see below...

Have also now edited my post to differensiate between slot1 and s370 specs, to reflect that I really want faster s370's (than 800mhz).

(sorry for any confusion in the first post, sloppy/hasty proofreading!)

LOL Laughing , just noticed your posting 10mins after mine - seems like we're competing for many of the same models ??

But, I am only looking for a couple of (working) ones, and then I'm good. So maybe not a big problem...

I had an old topic regarding ES chips but your post reminded me to update it with a new topic including additional chips, such as Athlon ES.

Not trying to snipe away anyone interested in selling to you, but if someone is willing to sell one ES, they maybe have more to sell Laughing

I'm looking more for older slower chips, such as Slot 1 PIII chips 450-600MHz rather than the faster ones like you are after. I'd still be interested in the higher clocked PIII's but they aren't my primary interest at the moment.

I'm looking for some as well lol, though (I just checked) I apparently already have the QID2QS 1400 Celeron one (not for sale, it's the only QS/ES I have).

Btw, there were some P2-400's with a free multiplier. I ran one @ 366Mhz a while ago and they aren't uncommon. Most 400's don't have free multi's though, only certain steppings with a certain date.
We had a thread on Vogons about them a while ago.

Heh, yeah I know all about those P2's, have one myself.... Very Happy

I was looking for some faster ones though, while avoiding the 133mhz bus.
(somehow those does not seem work at top/rated speed if thru a slotket, max 8x multi even if rated for higher)
Still, even if I can get actual speed to work with a 100mzh native bus, they will not go below 3x multi, as the P2-400 can.

...Crap, now we're at least 3 known people chasing these things... oh well Razz

Yes, no need to click the links with the now added text - thanks!
But, as you say, these are getting harder to find.
Was a bunch(cheap ones even! $9-20ish...) listed on ebay earlier this spring, several sellers, which I am now finding in some sellers feedback - me started looking a fraction of a second too late it seems... Sad
