Hi folks,
last days I got this nice SB80486DX2-50 in my hands. But have a look to the picture. For my taste the pincount is a bit low for PGA 80486. Any ideas?
BR,

386 overdrive??? I heared rumours about that back in the early 90ies but never saw one.
If the pin layout was more like a 386 i would love to believe... the pin count is not bad for a 386 _________________ You may use the photos I have posted here under CC BY-NC-SA license. |

Perhaps its a custom pinout for a laptop? Do you know what board it came from? _________________ General failure reading disk in drive A

| Definately not a 386 overdrive - wrong number of pins. My guess would be some vendor's custom socket... |

Just what I took from wiki,
that lead me into a possible 386-pin-choice;-)
