Any safe way to remove heat sink without damage label?

Actually, the FDIV's never had any markings on them. It was AMD K5's
for me that have been messed up bad by the markings coming off
with the glue after heating up to get the heat sink off. Sad

Tried to remove heat sink from few P90 chips.

I think it totally depends on the label and glue on the chip which means if the label(intel pentium marking) is on the glue, whatever method is useless.
On the other hand, if the label is on the chip(not stick on the glue), even you remove the heatsink straight way the marking is there.
