Hi I'm new here. I just bought this chip off Ebay and was wondering what it is exactly.

Does any one have any clue? Is it an ES or what? I planed on using it on a gaming rig and OCing and trying to unlock the L3 cache if posible. Thanx.

I guess you can't really see the model numbers and stepping codes in the pictures so:
ZD250121K4216
FADEC AD 0841APB
FA26558J80019
It says AMD Phenom on the chip, but cpuz says phenom ll TWKR 00
Specifacation Engineering Sample(ES)

Yes it is an ES

think Genna (owner of this site) bought one also, so he is likely testing his and will probably be able to answer all your questions

but most likely a 2.5GHz AMD Athlon II X4

CPU-Z is incorrect. It's an engineering sample of Athlon II X4 2.6 GHz, and its performance should be comparable to Athlon II X4 615e. I have no idea about TDP of this chip. The ZD250121K4216 doesn't have unlockable L3 cache.

@Neon Thanx. I wasn't sure but I didn't think it was a Phenom ll x4 like the seller said it was. I'm glad I won it so cheaply.
@GSHV Thanx for the info. I did some research with the cpuid search and could not find anything about it.
One other question, does anyone think this chip is worth keeping and using on a gaming rig or should I try for a Phenom ll x4/x6. I'm trying to keep it as cheap as possible and still get some descent performance with some new and used parts. I already have a Biostar A780 L3G MB, and MSI GeforceN210 graphics card, and of course the Athlon ll x4. Thanx!
