Symphony? Never heard about this company.

This company is mentioned in CHIPLIST. It seems they only produced samples of 80387 chips.

It's good to see something completely new. Very rare chip.

Symphony Labs (Santa Clara, USA) also produced the SL82C105, a Bus Master PCI-IDE Controller, which was used on the NexGen Nx586 PCI motherboards.

That's why I knew that company, but I didn't know they had also x86 compatible chips.

Symphony Labs also produced chipsets for 486 motherboards (SL82C461, SL82C465)

Hi,

The chip has the print 83C87, it could be an OEM ULSI CoPro.
Frassl has a chip in his avatar, 50/50 which also is an 83C87.

Nonetheless, this one is really beautiful.
