I've got a new style C8085A, I haven't found the country and date code, do you have any good idea?

Uhh, i only see a C8085 and not an C8080.

Never seen this type before either.
And it don't have any copyright on it, very rare chip would like to have a sample myself.

The printing looks very good and clear. A type nobody ever has seen... In German we would say: "Ein Schelm wer böses dabei denkt.".

date code of 8521, fairly late chip, but not so much as to be wierd.

OrBit, if you want I can check if its fake or not, I have a working 8085A based machine here (Taylorix System 4). Could be a remarked chip, the package looks very much like this C8087-2, but Intel may have used exactly the same with your 8085.

I did see some people from Germany spoke out loudly to condemn fake chips for fraudary (even without any proof), while at the same time doing fraudulent things in trade.

I'm sorry. That wasn't meant "German vs. China"

But when I see what some Chinese guys are selling on ebay, i not very happy Sad

If there where some cratches, bent Pin's or a Backprinting on the CPU, it looks more genuinly...

Nevertheless : It's a nice CPU!

I thought it could be a special Intel C8085A, I'll test it and feedback the result here as early as possible .
