Those are fakes:

- unusual font with overlapping letters
- data matrix code is invalid
- data matrix code is identical on both chips, even though serial numbers are different. This never happens on genuine processors.
- Serial numbers are from the same batch, but the packages are different.

There are collectors here who collect fakes, although I assume mostly only because they were unlucky enough to get one or more in the normal course of collecting. We've seen a lot of interesting (and sometimes very poor and abvious) fakes over the years. My favourites are the fake pentiums where you clean off the layer of paint as soon as you start cleaning the top of them Smile

I have bought a few known fakes... but most I have I have either found or bought not knowing they were fakes.

Without actively collecting them.. I still have ended up with 120+ faked parts
