there are some scrap lots with some nice chips in them
thought I would post them as they finish so you can see what is still showing up

First cab off the rank.. nice early mixed lot (surprised I didn't see Tom bid on this one Laughing)
highlight is two white / gold AMD Am2901ADM bit-slices

The same seller had another auction with 6 white ceramic ADM2910 chips, and some nice-looking flatpacks:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/24oz-Prime-Vintage-Gold-Semiconductors-Electronic-Parts-Scrap-Recovery-680g-/330639242745?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cfba275f9

I believe both auctions won the same bidder, and he's not a gold scrapper.

I knew he had another nice lot.. but I forgot to bookmark it
The one I'm trying to find, finished in past week and had 1 or 2 white MMI 6701Ds in the lot

I haven't seen it, or maybe I've seen it, but didn't recognize MMI processors.

Wow, my jaw almost fell off - I never saw these until now. They should have show up on my screens - something seems wrong with ebay. My only consolidation is that essentially all the ICs appeared to have custom markings! But still what a bummer Sad

ebay searches have been faulty for the past few weeks..so I have been relying on manually checking listings

but most of my searches seem to be working as of yesterday

I think I have seen the white AM2901 before and that after researching a bit I came to the conclusion that it is actually a second source from chip from Raytheon (the second line on the chip). I forget where I ran across the reference.

I think it's the other way around. AMD designed the chips, and Raytheon licensed it in December 1975.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270858726240&autorefresh=true#ht_500wt_1076

.... absolutely nothing worth more than double its gold scrap value Laughing

Either seller used generic picture, or the buyer backed out from the sale:

awfully quick to relist.. if non payer.. but I would expect a non payer at that price

One reason I hate that ebay has hidden away completed listings when looking at a sellers items.
I always checked completed items to see if photos were reused

This works for me:

Advanced search -> Items by seller <seller_name> -> Show completed listings only
