some of my colleagues at the failure analysis department did a very
well job to open a P4004 Smile
after my latest post with bad 4004 news I thought I should post some
nice stuff.

he did a excellent job of opening Very Happy

seems there is an air-space around the die.. not standard in later plastic chips

with later ones... you need to grind down to trace wires, then dissolve the remaining plastic with hot sulphuric acid
