I have no idea what I spent on my collection over the years (I'm not as good as some people at keeping records!), but I do know that selling it has already financed one high-end water-cooled system and will be financing a large chunk of a system with an insane spec next year _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Very hard question. For 7 years I have spent a lot of cash but definitely was worth it seeing actual prices. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

I have a build log at http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=219928. I have one more update to post (probably tomorrow), with a working gpu and the watercooling loop completed.
I'm holding off posting a full set of benchmarks (some have been posted at hwbot, and a couple on another forum) until I finish writing an article on overclocking that I have been working on for this site.
For anyone that wants to know more before checking t he link, the main components are:
Asus Maximum IV Gene-Z motherboard
Intel i7-2700K
8 GB Kingston HyperX@ 2133 MHz
EVGA GTX 570 Superclocked.
Everything that I can overclock has been overclocked. I still have work to do finding the most extreme clock speeds for stable benchmarking
I'll create a thread somewhere in the forums here when I start my next build. I'm sure a few readers will enjoy following the build, that I hope will end as a miniature supercomputer _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
