But that is making the assumption you are driving... not sure John's horse could keep up that pace Laughing

Several months have now passed since the original leave notice. From what I have gathered, there is no official return date for the AVICC service.

Is there anyone who is handling the transfer of funds from buyer's Paypal to John to AVICC to seller?

Is there a real possibility that AVICC will not return?

I know CPUShack is alive and not stuck in some third world jail... but beyond that I have no idea

I have sent him a message if he can give some idea of his return

He did say several months, and he has only been gone for 4 months so far. I know people miss him, but he could be away for a few more months (back home for the summer, away in the sun for the winter?). 4 months isn't long when you do missionary work.

I laughed when he was interrogated by the FBI for shipping Pentium Pros to Chinese members Laughing

Ah, so when he said he was going to do mission work, he really meant he was going to jail for his hobby Smile

Exactly.....this is why he does not have internet access all the time, and only has that when police permit him a rest once a week or month Very Happy

Has anyone tried sending money to John through Paypal and have it end up in their AVICC acount (while John is away)? Is this an automated process, or does John manually move it on ito AVICC for you? Is there someone else who has been moving the funds around in his absence?

I have a seller who only accepts AVICC and I've been waiting to pay him for quite some time now.

If by chance he went on some kind of Buddhist meditiation retreat, I hear those can totally change your life such that you never want to return to regular society again.

John, in the first post, said

Quote:
When I return AVICC will again be open for business.

So, AVICC is closed for business while he is away, which means nobody has been given control of it in his absence.
