I tried to install a FIC 2013 Motherboard in an old computer. According the AMD it was a match, it wasn't and it would not connect. Will my Biostar M5ALA motherborad support a AAMD 450 or 500 mhz K6 CPU.

I have a Biostar M5ALA, and it will support K6-2 at 450 or 500 MHz. However, it will not run them with 100 MHz bus. I do not know if this is for all M5ALA, or only my motherboard.
5.0 x 100 MHz = 500 MHz No Boot
4.5 x 100 MHz = 450 MHz No Boot
5.5 x 90 MHz = 495 MHz OK
5.0 x 90 MHz = 450 MHz OK
6.0 x 83 MHz = 500 MHz OK
5.5 x 83 MHz = 458 MHz OK
6.0 x 75 MHz = 450 MHz OK
