|
|
Hello,
Can you please confirm if the A8-3530MX APU supports virtualization AMD-V.
I do not find the virtualization option in the BIOS of the HP Pavilion DV6 laptop.
I have also upgraded the BIOS to the latest but no joy.
Need help please.
Thanks

According to the A8-3530MX page on this site, it does support virtualization. (Click on the part number to go to that page) _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

On the link you gave, under where it says "Sabine (Mobile)", the first line show features that are common to all mobile Llano chips. The last thing on that line is AMD-V, which is AMD virtualisation.
It sounds like your BIOS doesn't support it. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Hi Debs,
Thanks for the quick reply and confirming the features on the wiki site i just needed an expert opinion.
But could it be possible that HP has not realised this and this should be raised with their support teams.
I have also upgraded to their latest bios but no luck.
cheers
