hi!

i am using .Lenovo Thinkpad X200Tablet(cpu: intel core2 duo L9400) and Toshiba Satellite L755D-S5218(AMD A6-3400M). And i found out that it was possible to upgrade the cpu inside the laptop.
Can someone give me a list of cpus that i can replace it on these 2 laptops?
Also, this is my first time trying to replace a cpu, so can someone give me instructions of how i can do it and a list of things that i need?

Thank you

The X200's have the CPU soldered to the motherboard, so changing it isn't an option.

As far as the Satellite, an A6-3420M would be a direct replacement, but anything else that's faster in the A6 family would have a higher TDP, so I can't promise it'd work, and even then, that's not much of an upgrade. I've changed chips for higher TDP variants before in laptops and had good luck, but your mileage may vary. That said, an A8-3550MX may drop in and run, but I don't see that the L755D family ever shipped with that processor, so that motherboard (the K000103970) may not support the chip.
