I have been called up for Jury Duty on next Monday Crying or Very sad
I have never served on a Jury before and I am not looking forward to it.
I just hope they find me unsuitable or if they do find me suitable that it is a short trial or I may be tied up for some time Pray

here you get called up for the week
you go in each day... if not selected you can go home and come back the next morning
if you are selected and it only a day trial.. you still have to come back the next day
you need to do 3 days of duty before they say you dont need to come back

length.. will depend on what court you are going to

self employed persons normally can get out of it

I cringed on Monday Morning when I was selected and found out what the trial was for.
However the crown case was very weak, hence the not guilty verdict and I actually wonder how it even made it to court. On the evidence presented to us I would have thought that the crown would not have proceeded.

You sometimes hope it's enough to cnvince the jury.
Attorneys are paid to debunk the crown's theory.

Anyway, I hope you didn't get in with an "intel inside" shirt and the tie Genna got as a present Smile
