Saw this on ebay.

Not sure whether it is genuine. The print look a bit weird.
The seller seems has a lot of this chip.

If it is genuine. Maybe we can have a GB and ask a bargain from the seller.

If i were him, I would make a product list with price, send to anybody who is interested. Then take photo on request. Instead of just announce that he has thousands chips to sell.

As I expected that the price won't be low. LOL

For this remarked chip, if the price meet my expectation, I would get one for collection. As I'm currently collecting FAKE and REMARKED intel chips.

I got one of these C8008-1's about 2 years ago and they are real.
They were sold by Intel as surplus 8008's and had to be remarked by the buyer with different print.
They are also mentioned in George Phillips Intel Collector's Guide.

Thanks John.

I remember I saw kind of print DIP on chipdb, but that one wasn't C8008-1.

I don't have that book. I heard from CPUShark that the author was going to write a updated version about one year ago. I'm waiting for that version...LOL

Mr Philips hasn't relinquished control of the Collectors Guide.. so CPUShack is still just a contributor

Mr Philips is the only one with copies of the old version.. as CPUShack sold his stock
