|
|
I found two 1989 vintage FANUC CPU/memory boards and I'm selling my spare.
FANUC builds industrial robots that are used in the aerospace, automotive, consumer goods and other industries worldwide.
This board contains a nice Hitachi HD68000Y12 12MHz 68 pin in-socket PGA microprocessor chip. a hard to find FANUC thick ceramic soldered PGA chip plus 6 memory SIMMS, 4 NEC socketed chips and two small LED modules.

For some reason these are offered at crazy prices. (like the ones below on Ebay):

I'll accept the highest bid by PM for this interesting piece of technology that I receive by Thursday night. Let me know if you want the entire board or just certain chips and parts you want removed from the board, if you want to reduce international shipping.
The steel mounting brackets can also be unscrewed from the board to save a few ounces as another way to reduce shipping cost.
SHIPPING: I will send any chips or parts removed from the board for a shipping cost of $2.50 in US or $3.50 worldwide to the highest bidder. Board will be at actual calculated cost, based on destination.
PAYMENT: by PayPal "Personal-Gift" option preferred, otherwise add PayPal fees of $.50 plus 3.9%.
Cheers. _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html

| The reason they're offered at high high prices is becuase they're still in use in some factories. My father works at a machine shop that still uses CNCs of this era and still finds itself buying eBay parts for them like this. You'd be surprised how parts like this still bring a TON of money. It's either buy a $400 board like this or but a $100,000 CNC machine. It's a no brainer. |

Not likely. Most of their machines are driven by Allen-Bradley controls. I'd hock it on eBay if I were you, and take some of your proceeds and go buy a HD68000 if you're really that attached to the chip. |
