Well done. I am, of course, green with envy.
Here's hoping for a trickle of them to appear before they all get crushed. |

I thought an ex-collector should not envy any chips any more.I am wrong? _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

True.. I excel at mediocrity in most things, including PPRo collecting. I had two chances to buy a few years ago, but they slipped through my fingers.
Maybe I'll leave that gap in my ppro production specs as a constant reminder of my failure. |

I was a member a while back and enjoyed the forum but, didn't have time to stay current. I lost my user name and password, also cancelled some old email accounts so I just created a new account.
Anyway, I have been a long time Pentium Pro collector, ever since it was first introduced. I am a system administrator and have worked in the computer industry for over 30 years.
I currently have about 23 Pentium Pros, 1 is an engineering sample I found in a server that was being retired. I also have a matched pair of 200Mhz/1m (SL25A), a 4 chip tray, and one in the factory sealed box.
I am working on a "shadow box" display to hang on the wall of my office.
A couple dual P.Pro mobos round out that collection.
I will gather them up and post pictures as soon as I have time.
More later. |

Thanks. I have fun sharing on this forum.
Just to be clear, I have many other cpus and old components in my collection as well. I'll be posting about those soon. |
