Finally found time to make some pictures of unusual chips in my collection.
1+2. Weitek 3167 ES on adapter
3+4. Very early K7-600 Engineering Sample

Love the K7! That's the first of them I've seen, loads of QS around but not so many ES  _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

I bet you already saw one - Gennadiy has one on the main K7 page: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K7/index.html
Apparently there are two types of slot K7 ES - the early ES (like on the picture), and the late ES version - like this one
I don't know, which modification is more rare. |

Nice chips, especially Weitek, but that is only because I already have AMD K7 600 ES
I've seen more processors with "AMD" logo, rather than with "AMD K7 Processor" logo. Still, those are more rare than "7th generation" CPUs.

Yours & Gennas have same sticker markings
still trying to work out diff markings on mine
guessing C0 & C1 are core rev

I checked the chips - the markings are exactly the same.
My Q0816 has these - A5282520NA 25244960AB Malay K |

Fortunately all the pins survived without the damage. The broken edge doesn't affect the functionality. |
