Not long ago I got a bunch of white ceramic TMS9900 chips. One of them has unusual markings - ITT9900JL.

Does anybody know who manufactured the chip? There is no logo, but the markings only.
What do you think - how rare is the chip and how much it could be worth?

Just to be clear - the chip is not for sale or trade. Smile
... and I don't have any spares.

Micronas Semiconductor was established in 1989, and the chip has 1980 date code. Micronas Semiconductor acquired ITT Intermetall in 1997, maybe that company produced it.

BTW, I also have one in my collection:

Judging by the pictures, they just remarked TI's processor.

I have one as well and all three have a polished lid. So I think Genna you are right. These had originally TI markings, these have bees cleaned with a hard rubber and then remarked.
