Just received an Intel D8089-3 .. couldnt find many infos about it .. its that rare? it's a CPu or other kind of chip? thank you

they dont seem to be rare at all, I can buy tubes of them.

It is not a CPU. It is a I/O processor.
I have three different variation of D8089A-3 and one MD8089A in my collection.
Not sure whether it is rare. Not many people collect it since it is not a CPU.
