I couldn't find anything either. I noticed that almost all companies that show this chip in stock are located in China. It's possible that the manufacturer is located in China too, or at least it's an Asian company.

HKE could mean Hong-Kong Electronics
And PL could stand for Plastic. _________________ Collecting soviet and western CPUs once again -- highfive to old-timers o/ |

Actually, that makes perfect sense. This could be a HKE 6502 chip. |

Thanks guys for looking. I didn`t have much luck when I looked.
Hong-Kong Electronics sounds the best so far.

my only hints for HKE were far east companies too but I didn't really see a chip manufacturer there.
Also Hong Kong Electronics is not the real manufacturer of that chip (my opinion).
For me the question is still open.

Their site search is broken, I constantly get an error when searching for 65SC02. Anyway, this chip was made back in '94...
You seem to be right, nikko =)
P. S. That "Hong-Kong Electronics" stuff was just a made up thing that struck my mind at first. _________________ Collecting soviet and western CPUs once again -- highfive to old-timers o/ |
