Yes . it may be common. But you'll be hard pushed to find one as clean, and tidy and pretty and in such good condition with the original heatsink like this one:

This version is less common than the purple or black heatsink Wink

I know... the electric blue colour makes it look soooo pretty. Was very pleased to find it in one of the parcels of bulk CPU's that arrived this morning.

It seems like you're getting tons of cpus every day. Very Happy
Why'd you need so many chips, as you've said before, there are many many identical pieces that you have. Confused

I like em Very Happy Is that reason notgood enough?

I go through spates of buying loads in bulk, then none for a few months.. then loads again in bulk.

I find that if I buy this way I can find the 'little gems' like this one in big packages... makes it a little be more exciing for me i guess (haha, what a dull life I must lead).

Also, by buying in bulk I can sell on the processors I do not need, and hopefully earn myself some money to purchase more CPU's.

I at the moment have 357 different chips in the collection all around 386 - 1GHz. Some rare, many common. I have about 700 spare chips for trade Laughing

Buying in bulk is extremely fun.
You never know what gem you might pull out of the pile.
Its exciting.

I understand completely.

There is that too, but you can almost always resell a lot like that for scrap, after pulling out any cool CPU's/EPROM's

In my mind that CPU isn't common. I got 3 chips and all of them were from 486 mobo servers.

When I saw it, I did actually think of your profile picture. exactly the same colour and the only other time I have seen a retail CPU that colour.
