ok so I managed to unlock a 3rd core from my amd phenom x2 555 BE processor (with the 4th one it would just restart forever) and since then I've been having the weirdest framing problems with games that prior to the unlock worked perfect ... so basically I have a 50-50 chance that the game will run normal when I launch it (excepting some random spikes) ... I suspect it may have something to do with the L3 cache they now share and I don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post a screenshot or photo of what is happening? It might help one of us identify the problem (you will need to register here to upload a pic, or host it elsewhere and link).

It sounds to me like the 3rd core may not be stable enough for your needs.

I would have to make a video Smile ... as I said the problem is with the performance of some games that prior to the unlock worked perfect now they don't they move horribly for no good reason ... even if cpu usage and memory is at 50% for example. I should mention that I've done stress testing on all 3 cores and they work fine.
