Hi!

I hope anyone can tell me in which year did Intel remark the C8008-1. On this site here just says that they were remarked in 1970's, but when 1974-1975-1976. I hope someone can tell me.

I doubt that anybody will tell you this. Your only hope is that NOSChips will find the Intel paperwork, and that may tell approximate date range. The paperwork will also prove that the chips were remarked by Intel, and not by somebody else. This type of remark could by done by anybody...

I agree, they could have been remarked by anyone at any given time. I know he has stated these were remarked by Intel before, but I have yet to see any proof of this. If he does have paperwork or somthing to show that, well I will change my opinion probly. But I have seen these remarked chips around for years now and yet to have anyone claim they were remarked by Intel. All do claim they are remarked, but ive never seen any one else say remareked by Intel. The remarking to me seems awful sloppy to be done by Intel, plus if you look closely it looks like the I for Intel is also faded a bit like its the original markings and the 8008 portion is wayyy darker. Do a search of c8008-1 in the forums here and you will see lots of discussion and some insight into these chips.
