Cell based ASSP
296k-18Million gates (not sure on the 803000 exactly) (can be configured as any umber of processor types (V850, ARM, etc)

uPD800000 Family of devices

Application Specific Standard Product
(basically a custom chip built out of an existing library of IP (Intellectual Property) blocks, in this case using a gate array as a base)
