I am putting up my spare MicroModule Systems 120Mhz Pentium modules up for auction
MMS UNVEILS NEW TECHNOLOGY ROADMAP FOR NOTEBOOK PCs and SFF computers
The auction will be in a Vickrey auction format
Highest & 2nd highest bidder will win, but only pay what the 2nd bidder offered.
The highest bidder will have first choice to which module he wants
The auction will run for 5 days, and I will post when there is 24 hours left
The modules are presently at AVICC and available for immediate shipment _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

yes they are Hugo
I am actually talking to Howard who is noted on most of the news articles as the contact for MMS
So hopefully will be able to source more information of these units, as it is very lacking on the web _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

bidding has now closed
bidder list as follows
Bidder # 8 - $65 (Right M84609.020)
Bidder # 5 - $61 (Left M84608.037)
Bidder # 4 - $36
Bidder # 2 - $35
Bidder # 6 - $22
Bidder # 3 - $12
as there was a bit of drop from 2nd to 3rd bid, I have decided to split the difference between the 2nd & 3rd amounts
So instead of $61 as the winning bid as planned, I am making it $48.5
congratulations to the winners & thanks to everyone else that participated
the funds from this auction will part fund the purchase of a system to run these unique processors _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

Stu, I didn't bid on these, but can I just say that selling at $48.50 each rather than $61 says a lot about the type of person you are....so I hope the winners are grateful! _________________ My former Intel collection:

Thanks Smithy
Looking at bids I decided the real market value was around there
$48 covers my costs and gives me some $ towards a system to run these on.
The few systems I located contain a MMS module, but at $140 (plus shipping from US) I dont think many would jump at them _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:
