|
|
Hi all!
Where can I find information for official Northbridge frequencies on AMD CPUs? I'm looking for info for these:
- Sempron (Sargas)
- Athlon II X2 (Regor)
- Athlon II X3 (Rana)
- Athlon II X4 (Propus and Zosma)
- Phenom II X2 (Callisto)
- Phenom II X4 (Deneb and Zosma)
- Phenom II X6 (Thuban)
- FX (Zambezi)
Thank you. |

Thanks for the hint, it's not that one, but I managed to find the real one. Can't seem to post the link, but same link, different file, ends in 43375.pdf
A bit over the top for my own experience. I was trying to get a more general data info approach for a general audience, or if you know those frequencies by heart, that would suffice. Sorry for being unclear about it.
I know some FX processors have 2000 MHz, and others 2200 MHz. That was the kind of info I was looking for. Thx again. |

Sorry, I posted wrong link.

Some motherboard manufacturers list this frequency instead of HT speed. As an example, I think that FSB for FX processors on the page below relates to NB frequencies:

I don't know, I think those frequencies pointing towards FSB could be either Northbridge or Hypertransport. The supported Opteron on ASRock AM3+ support list says 2600 MHz, but details of it on this site says that 2600 MHz is the HTT with a special note saying 2000 MHz for NB.
Maybe I should register to this site? Can't seem to post any link at all. |

HT speed is listed as 5200 MHz in many places on AMD website. I believe it should be "GT/s" instead of "MHz", which means that HT frequency is 2.6 GHz.

Sorry about that. Spammers use automated scripts to post links in forums. Since we disabled link posting by guests, and added antispam measures to registration script, we didn't have any spam messages posted by bots. All spam, that you may see on the board, is proudly posted by humans
