unusual LSI package 4x00 MIPs pinout

I was wondering if anyone had come across these unusual LSI package
with same pinout as NEC & Toshiba 4x00 series MIPs

closest I could find was this

Hello,
I have a similar LSI chip (with different readings) in a Sequent Symmetry I/O board (Sequent was a manufacturer of large fault-tolerant and parallel systems).
I don't know what it could be (gate array? CPU?)
