Where browsing my Am486 section when i noticed something. My SX-2 50 (one of my first CPU:s in my collection, gave $2) does not have the Windows logo.
I cant find any other SX2-50 except the ES one at engineering-sample.com. Where it says that the final revision of the SX2 was announced in september -94.
Mine says 409B4XD. Is that -94 week 9? Anyone else got a SX-2 50? With or without logo?
Edit: Gaaaah There is a SX2-50 right here at cpu-world. Missed it. Any way, it got the Wondows logo. So my piece is perhaps an early (rare) example.

Yes.
I saw a few more A80486SX-2 processors before, but all of them had Windows logo.

The AMD 486SX2-50 was released on February 1994, not October.
So you have one of the first released ones. |
