Hey guys! I'm so glad about finding this forum, was looking for a place like this for about 2 days now.
Well, I was related to computers since I was about 5 years old, but aside the topic of quite usual PC hardware, overclocking and some tinkering with voltmods, I never got deeper into microelectronics or kind of stuff (only some ES CPUs for Overclocking once and then).
Now I got a huge package of chips, ICs, PCI cards, circuit boards etc.
Amongst all the other things there where a bunch of chips, especially Engineering Samples. Now I am not sure what to do with it, maybe some of you can tell me a few things about these:

I think most all of the micronas parts are sound/udio chipsets.

Trident, are video (and maybe some sound, need to see pics)

The micronas PGA sounds cool too

I've made a few pics. The picture is a little big but in this way it was easier to upload for me instead of dozens of little files.
Not every single chip is on this picture because most of the QFPs are in large quantities and pretty all look the same. But I can make more photos if anyone wishes for.

So, my question is if these chips have any value? As a poor student having 2 jobs aside of my university duties to make my living I am always looking to get some cash. Laughing
Maybe I try to sell them on eBay if I can't find someone who maybe collects ES chips of all kinds (besides CPUs and related).

Micronas VCT 49XYF PY B0 Engineering Sample
Micronas VCT 49XYF PY C01 Engineering Sample
Micronas VCT 4943I Z1 Engineering Sample
These are all 8051 based microcontrollers - 20.25MHz

The Trident HiDTV Pro-Fusion P120 is a MIPS based SoC (dual core I think)

Micronas MSP are audio processors.
Micronas DRX are digital receiver front ends
Trident FRC is a Frame Rate Controller

Thank you for the information! Smile
Do you have any idea how old these VCT chips are?
