Here are my NCR Chips

If I remember correctly these may have come out of an NCR Check encoding machine where I found a nice white ceramic mcs-4 chipset.

Best try a board you can set voltages by jumpers and also try booting without any drives attached to the board first.

In testing the ones I have, I ended up frying 2 motherboards, one hard-drive & a power supply
been able to get to boot, but still not stable enough to run Windows

Just one correction, MIPSes are 4600 and 4700 respectively (SGI machines will report both as 4600). There's a difference between R4k and R4600 (the latter more closely related to R5k)
